Housing is all important livelihood issue. Just as a Chinese saying goes:"Home to enjoy, work to enjoy. " But in China’s major cities, due to the high current housing prices, some low-income groups are unable to rent or buy house. This policy has been implemented for many years, gained very great success, for many city low-income families solve and improve living conditions, as China’s economic development and social stability made great contribution. A survey of current our country affordable housing construction present situation, discovers the remains and the original policy objectives have certain difference, especially in the affordable housing planning site, has been doing enough, did not get more attention from government departments and society, that produce such as spatial mismatch and other social problems. In addition, the location planning of urban spatial development also plays a key role in the whole. Therefore, it is very urgent to solve the problem of site selection of affordable housing.This study first analyzes China’s security situation of overall construction of housing, and try to sum up the current city location common features and main problems existed in the location, explores the factors influencing the indemnificatory housing location, build affordable housing site suitability evaluation system, and taking Wuxi city as an example to make an empirical analysis. In the course of the study, the construction of Wuxi affordable housing the constructability of the influence factor index system by using the method of rational, quantitative analysis, using the AHP to determine each location affect the weights of evaluation factors, the use of G1S software to complete the Wuxi city affordable housing land suitability analysis of multi factors quantified, graph degree evaluation, get Wuxi city affordable housing land suitability evaluation map, and proposed the corresponding location suggestion. Through this research, in order to provide certain reference location for affordable housing of the city.
