Research On The Logistics Value Chain Optimization Of T Company Based On The Value Engineering

Value chain thinking has been demonstrated in practice successfully by many enterprises as an effective tool to enhance the competitive advantage, and in the home appliance industry, as the most critical part of the value chain, the logistics aspects should get more attention from the managers. In the background of the rapid escalation of home appliances consumption, home appliances market competition is heating up, which causes a shock to the traditional home appliance business management. Part of the household electrical appliance enterprises are in the attempt to break through, while most are still in a confused period. Therefore, the household electrical appliance enterprises need to analyze the logistics value chain from procurement logistics, production logistics, distribution logistics, return logistics, combined with the specific conditions of themselves, in order to enhance the level of household electrical appliance enterprises overall.Firstly, this paper describes the background and the significance of the logistics value chain, and expounds the contents and methods of the research, and summaries the related concepts and the basic theories in order to provide basis and direction for the later research.Secondly, the paper analyzes the logistics value chain corresponding to the relationship between the input and output of the functions and cost in the theory of value engineering, and construct models from both qualitative and quantitative analysis of the logistics value chain respectively, and analyzes functions of logistics activities through horizontal and vertical logistics value chain of T company, and describes the contents of the logistics value chain analysis, providing evidences and guidance for the following optimization methods and strategies.Thirdly, the paper analyzes the logistics status of the household electrical appliance enterprises, and comes up with the main issues in current logistics model. Combining with the actual empirical research, the paper analyzes T company’s basic conditions. Also, the paper analyzes logistics functions and logistics cost of all aspects of the logistics value chain binding T company’s specific situations of the logistics to determine the logisticsvalue coefficient. And the paper designs index from procurement logistics, production logistics, distribution logistics and return logistics by taking household electrical appliance enterprises as example. The paper builds evaluation system of the logistics activities function of household electrical appliance enterprises logistics value chain, and uses the entropy method to determine evaluation index-weight. Then the paper analyses the cost drivers of the logistics value chain of T company by cost driver analysis method, laying the groundwork for the following proposed optimization strategy.Finally, the paper put forward logistics value chain optimization contents and suggests based on logistics value coefficient, functional improvement and cost control.
