| In recent years, China’s integration process of regional economy was accelerated, regional cooperation and advancement of industrial transfer was also deepening, which continuously enhanced the region’s industrial links from breadth and depth. Regional economic integration is a process of forming a rational regional division of labor system. Research on regional industrial integration will promote the rational flow of industrial elements, such as capital, technology, talent, etc. Which promoting the allocation of resources in a larger area, and enhance the regional economics level and industrial innovation capability.Currently, Chongqing metropolis is promoting the integration process in order to forming a scientific labor system of industrial division. This paper takes Chongqing metropolis as the research object, studied the industry development present situation, analyzed the stage of industrialization, and determined the evaluation object. The development levels of industrial integration of 13 study areas were analyzed. And at last some counter measures of optimize the industrial spatial layout were put forward. The first step is to analyzing the current industrial development situation of Chongqing metropolis, obtaining the industrial development characteristics. The second step, the research makes comparative level analyses with other national central cities, introducing international classic dividing criterion of industrialization, analyzing the economic gap between Chongqing metropolitan area and other countries, determining the present stage of industrialization in Chongqing metropolitan area, proposing that this stage is still an important period of the industrialization process in Chongqing metropolitan area, which pave the way for researching the industry integration level in Chongqing metropolitan area. The research analyses the industry integration level in Chongqing metropolitan area, and analyses the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges of the industry integration level in Chongqing metropolitan area in the third step. In the fourth step, the research analyses the manufacturing industry production efficiency in counties of Chongqing metropolitan area, combining the analysis of industrial integration above, screening the main type which suits industrial integration development. In the fifth step, the research introduced the layout principle of industry integration, combined with the analysis of county economic relation intensity, proposing a scheme of dividing industry area in Chongqing metropolitan area. At last, the search proposed countermeasures and suggestions, to promoting the integration level of industry development and optimizing the space layout in Chongqing metropolitan area. The conclusions of the research are as follows:(1)The economic development of Chongqing metropolis from 2006 to 2013, shows a good momentum. Specific performance in the GDP and per capita GDP showing a rising trend. From the point of industrial structure, the three times industry growth in recent eight years rising steadily. Three times average industry growth rate was more than 12%. Among them, the momentum of secondary industry development is best. The tertiary industry has developed rapidly and has strong stamina, the primary industry development was lagging behind. In addition, the industrial economy had great progress, the annual growth rate as high as 22.17%, significantly ahead of primary, tertiary industry.(2)Three times industry growth of Metropolitan area from 2006 to 2013 on the economic growth of the pulling effect difference greatly, which pulling effect of the tertiary industry on economic growth increased significantly, the pulling effect of the primary industry to the economic growth is increasingly weak, the secondary industry to the economic growth of pull maneuver with a slight decrease. The industry stimulating effect on economic development obviously, and it development well. The industrial structure Non-agricultural characteristics of metropolitan area industrial structure was more apparent, expressed as a proportion of the primary industry continued to decline, a steady increase in the proportion of secondary industry and tertiary industry, the industry accounted for than has been more than two fifths, highlighting the industry in metropolitan area of the national economy in a unique and important position.(3)Through a comparison from five national central cities, the research found that: the economy of Chongqing Metropolitan Area shows a vast gap with other four cities, remains a backward position in the stage of development; introduced the classic industrialization stage division method, the results show that Chongqing Metropolitan Area is in the stage of transfer from the middle to the late, and it is still an important period of industrialization for Chongqing Metropolitan Area.(4)From the industrial division of labor index, the manufacturing industry structure between Chongqing metropolitan area 13 study areas was vary in2013. wherein the main city of Chongqing and Fuling, Qijiang Changshou, Jiangjin, Hechuan, Yongchuan, Nanchuan, Bishan, Tongliang, Tongnan, Rongchang large differences between the industrial structure. But between Dazu area is small.(5)Manufacturing Industry professional level between each study area metropolitan area are quite different, the member of Specialized manufacturing sector in main city is less than the peripheral region 12 of the study area. Differences in manufacturing scale is large between 13 he study area, manufacturing output for the greatest contribution to a few sectors, especially the main city of Chongqing this case the most obvious. Each research area has a large difference in the number of industries with advanced industrial advantages, Changshou of the most advanced industries, reaching 10, the main city and the Jiangjin area at least, only 4 advanced industries.(6)Through screen the integrated development of key industries, the district has identified key industries integration development, the metal products industry, non-metallic minerals, transportation equipment manufacturing, general equipment manufacturing industry, pharmaceutical manufacturing, non-ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry, rubber and plastic industry such as have better screening results, been included in one of a plurality of regions key industry development.(7) By analyzing the industry integration condition of the Chongqing metropolitan area, combined with the principle of economic relation and industrial space layout, the research divide the counties in the Chongqing metropolitan area into different districts, trying to find the spatial layout of industrial integration: main city- Jiangjin- Bishan- Hechuan area,The main city-Changshou area, Fuling- Changshou area, Jiangjin – Hechuan – Bishan- Yongchuan area, Yongchuan – Dazu- Rongchang area, Tongnan- Hechuan- Tongliang area, Qijiang- Nanchuan area, Districts according to their own integration of key industries, according to the area to build industrial cluster. |
