A Research On The Influence Factors Of Industrial Enterprises’ Ability Of Technological Innovation In China

The elements based on what to promote the development of economic transform from investment-driven to innovation-driven. That is one of the core content of China’s economic new normal. The ability of technological innovation has become the important indicator to measure a country’s economic development level and growth potential. Technological innovation is a complex system. The influencing factors of the ability of technological innovation are multivariate, and different countries have different conditions. To study the main factors affecting Chinese industrial enterprises’ ability of technological innovation and to explore the effective measures of promoting industrial innovation performance have important theoretical and realistic significance.Based on the perspective of systemic research to the modern technology innovation theory, industrial organization theory and studies on enterprise innovation ability as the foundation, the author constructed the theory analysis framework of Chinese industrial enterprises’ effect factor of technological innovation ability, examining the main factors influencing the enterprise technology innovation ability from two dimensions: enterprise itself and external management environment. As a result, the author revealed the factors in research how to affecting the technological innovation ability of industrial enterprises and explored the corresponding effective countermeasures and the suggestions of improving enterprise’s technological innovation ability.This paper considering the predecessors’ research and the available data in industry database, selected the nine main factors affecting our country enterprise’s technological innovation ability then to discuss these factors carried on the qualitative analysis how to affect the mechanism of enterprise technological innovation. Then, using data from 2005-2006(the sample data of industrial enterprises before 2005 and in 2008 are lack of “research development fee”, while sample data in 2007 is lack of “new product production”.) Using STATA 12.0 analysis of the correlation between each variable, check the presence of multicollinearity between variables, and then through the multiple regression model analysis of the factors with the relation with industrial enterprise’s technological innovation ability. Finally, the empirical results accepted robustness test.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1) R&D spending is the most important factor of affecting the technology innovation ability of Chinese industrial enterprise, the greater the R&D, the stronger the enterprise technology innovation ability;(2) Enterprise scale and industrial enterprise innovation ability is inverted u-shaped relationship, and there is the optimal scale to maximize the enterprise technology innovation ability;(3) The effect of investment in education and training for enterprise employees on enterprise innovation ability is not stable, it may be associated with the content and ways of education training input.(4) The enterprise marketing investment is negatively related with industrial enterprise technological innovation ability. Pursuing the recent profits and increasing investment in marketing may reduce the input of R&D and be adverse to the enterprise technical innovation;(5) Enterprise assets specificity is negatively related to the enterprise technological innovation ability, the higher level of assets specificity, the less conducive to improve enterprise technological innovation ability;(6) The innovation management level of ascension can enhance industrial enterprise innovation ability;(7) Only moderate market competition can maximize innovation ability of industrial enterprises, excessive competition or excessive monopoly is not conducive to improve enterprise’s technological innovation ability;(8) Subsidies can promote the industrial enterprise innovation ability.Finally according to the conclusions from several aspects put forward the countermeasures and suggestions of improve innovation ability of industrial enterprises.
