In this paper,the chemical constituents and bioactivity of Potentilla fruticose L.were studied.A long time ago,P.fruticose L.Rosaceaehas been a famous oriental medical profession,for its analgesic,bleeding and anti-inflammatory effect.The extract of P.fruticose L.branches can reduce the blood cholesterol and blood sugar levels,at the same time,P.fruticose L.has a strong bactericidal effect on intestinal infection bacteria,especially for cholera bacteria have significant antibacterial activity.In recent years,the biomass and cultivation techniques of P.fruticose L.have been studied in China.There are few studies on its chemical composition,especially on the chemical composition and bioactivity of P.fruticose L.in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.1.A total of 42 compounds were isolated from 95% methanol extract,41 compounds were identified,two new compounds and thirty-nine known compounds were identified.The structural types of compounds include flavonoids,tannins,polyphenols,lignans,triterpenes and chlorogenic acids.Among them,27 compounds were isolated from the genus Potentilla.for the first time,and 36 compounds were isolated from P.fruticose L.for the first time.2.Antibacterial activity test(Escherichia coli,Staphylococcus aureus subsp.Aureus,Salmonella enterica subsp.Enterica,Pseudomonas aeruginosa)was carried out on some of the compounds isolated from P.fruticose L.The results showed that compounds(3,4,6-tri-O-galloyl-?-D-glucose,Methyl gallate,5-hydroxysalicylic acid,Methyl 5-(2,3-dihydroxy-5-(methoxycarbonyl)phenoxy)-2,3,4-trihydroxybenzoate)had certain anti-Escherichia coli activity at the concentration of 128 ?g/mL,the inhibition rates were 48.992%,50.855%,31.34% and 33.05%,respectively.And compounds(caffeic acid,naringeninic acid)had certain resistance Staphylococcus aureus subsp.Aureus activity,the inhibition rates were 52.07% and 52.05% compounds.Compound ethyl gallate and Naringeninic acid have certain anti-Salmonella enterica subsp.Enterica,the inhibition rates were 39.46% and 37.18% and compound3,4,6-tri-O-galloyl-?-D-glucose has certain Pseudomonas aeruginosa inhibitory activity,the inhibition rate was 36.57%.3.Some of the compounds from P.fruticose L.were tested for potential hypoglycemic activity by using the adipocyte uptake glucose model for some of the compounds,The results showed that compounds(+)-catechin ? quercetin 3-o-?-d-glucuronide?quercetin 3-vicianoside and 5-hydroxysalicylic acid had some activity to promote adipocyte uptake of glucose.
