In the existing monitoring system of mining locomotive, it's often likely to cause transportation accidents because of that dispatchers are not able to accurately know the particular position information of the locomotives. In addition, the development of locomotive positioning system about coal mine underground in China is not ripe and the riper techniques on application and research of the locomotive positioning underground are based on RFID and ZigBee which are not the truly accurate positioning because of the restrictions of technology and environment of application.The paper analyses the weaknesses of positioning systems and monitoring systems for locomotives and puts forward one kind of monitoring system of locomotives underground based on the new accurate positioning technique. Precise positioning technology is implemented by its own information of the monitoring systems, presenting the key technology to achieve accurate positioning:acceleration sensor filter?displacement algorithm?turnout information transmission, proposing solutions against them. At the same time for more precise positioning, the paper studies the displacement correction. For the special working environment of coal mine, the communication based on ZigBee technique and CAN bus technique is introduced in the motor vehicle monitoring system, and their communication protocols and network topologies was studied. Wireless voice communications systems and other alarm functions based on AMBE-1000 are introduced into monitoring system. Hardware and software design study of the entire system is done in this paper that builds a simulation test system by which the key technologies and related functions of the monitoring system are tested, and the experimental datas are studied. The results of simulation test prove that the monitoring system of locomotives based on precise positioning proposed in this paper is accurate positioning?reliable communication and working stability, etc.
