With the development of iron and steel enterprises, the competition among enterprises is fiercer and fiercer. The key factor of enterprise is how to reduce the production cost and get more profit.Feeding is one of the most important step in Converter steelmaking. When steelmaking, the feeding system improves all kind of raw material, in order to produce some a steel. The feeding system working accurately and in a reliable way is an important indicator.At present, the Feeding System in Ansteel Co..Ltd mainly uses the relay and contactor. Because of the dust and high temperature, the control system have a low reliable, we need do a lot of work and cost a lot of time to deal with the fault, which have endanger the normal working. There is another disadvantages, the using system can't achieve the accurate controlling, it need to be adjusted repeated, which break down a lot of relay and contactor, improve the cost of equipment. This article mainly design a converter's feeding system, by using delivery belt, the necessary raw material are delivered to converter. The system mainly controls those motors of belts and feeding, only in this way, some certain Logic function can be come true, at the same time; the operator can control the system in host computer. In order to complete the above function,I design a system including a master station and 3 slave stations, both of them choose the Siemens S7-400, after calculate the number of I/O, I determined which kind of module should be used. PROFIBUS-DP is used to transform the data. WINCC Flexible is used to design the human-computer interface. At present, the system works in good condition. Siemens PLC can achieve different target by using different combination.
