Ledger mechanism is an important device of cutting system in cigarette maker, which main role is to guide cigarette and provide support during cigarette cutting. The cigarette travels forward at high speed, and the cigarette supporting device follows the cigarette at the same speed in the process of cigarette cutting. Therefore, the design, processing, assembly and debugging of the ledger mechanism have a great affect on cutting quality of double-length cigarette. The research object of this thesis is ledger mechanism which is the core component of cigarette mak er by creating theoretical calculation model and rigid-flexible coupling model. Then, the kinematics and dynamics characteristics of ledger mechanism are studied and the dynamic balance optimization is carried out on eccentric driving mechanism in the process of double-length cigarette cutting. The main contents are as follows:(1)The working principle of ledger mechanism is analyzed and its digital model is established. The theoretical calculation model is established based on the principle of ledger mechanism and the main working parameters of the mechanism are determined; Meanwhile, the digital model of each part in ledger mechanism are established, and the assembly of the digital model and the adjustment of the working parameters are completed; Based on the digital model of the ledger mechanism, the transmission principle is analyzed.(2) The material properties of the flexible body are tested and the rigid-flexible coupling model of ledger mechanism is established. Material properties such as density, elastic modulus and poisson's ratio of the ledger mechanism vibration plate are tested. Based on the digital model of the ledger mechanism and the material property parameters of the flexible body, the rigid-flexible coupling model of the ledger mechanism is established and validated.(3)The motion simulation of the ledger mechanism and the stress of the flexible body are analyzed. The motion simulation of the ledger mechanism is completed based on the rigid-flexible coupling model during the double-length cigarette cutting. According to the simulation results, focus on the change of the kinematic parameters of the ledger center position, the stress distribution of the flexible body and the correlation between them and the cutting quality of the double-length cigarette.(4)The dynamic balance performance for the eccentric driving mechanism of ledger mechanism is studied. The dynamic balance optimization for the eccentric driving mechanism of ledger mechanism is completed based on the parametric model of balance block. Reducing the vibration of the ledger mechanism by reducing the unbalance weight of the driving shaft, at the same time, the optimization result is judged according to the inertia force of the driving shaft.In this paper, based on virtual prototype techno logy, the simulation analysis of the ledger mechanism and the dynamic balance optimization of the eccentric driving mechanism were completed. The analysis methods of suggested problems and achieved research results will have the certain reference value for improving the cutting quality of double-length cigarette.
