The Kinematic Synthesis And Analysis For The Rod-cut Mechanism In Passim7k Cigarette Maker And The Study For The Strategy To Improve The Cigarette Outward Apperance Quality

Passim7k Cigarette Maker is the main cigarette equipment made by Molins Company in England in the late 1980s. Secondly, it elaborates theoretically the adjusting reason of the cutting head angle and blade angle that have to be adjusted when being repaired. At last, it analyses the working principle of grinding and sharpening device and the cigarette rod support system.From the point of view of kinematics, the paper analyses the transmission gearing system of cigarette maker. It sets up the motional formula of the corresponding mechanism by analyzing the relationship among cutting blade, cutting head, cigarette rod support system, cigarette making system and grinding and sharpening device. By inferring and calculating the formula about the linear velocity of different points on the cutting point, the paper discusses the whole motional cutting process of cigarette rod cutting. In the paper, simplify the mechanism of cigarette rod support system as the Crank and Slipper Mechanism. By establishing the analytical model of the crank and slipper mechanism, the author has worked out its main velocity parameter in C programming language.The paper proves that the error caused by the operator when adjusting cutting head angle, blade angle and grinding system will have influence on cigarette rod cutting quality; that the change of cigarette rod linear velocity and of the linear velocity of different points on cutting points and cutting area will also affect cigarette rod cutting quality. The paper finds out the main parameters that can influence the linear velocity of rod-guide bushings in cigarette rod support system and the relationship between rod-guide bushings and cutting blade. Based on these, this paper has found the main factors and their features that may have influence on the quality of cigarette rod cutting, and the measures to solve the problems. Moreover, applying the measures on Passim7k Cigarette Maker will help verify its efficiency.Because both Super9 and Passim7k are the cigarette equipment made by Molins Company. The cigarette cutting mechanism in the two types of machines are very similar. Therefore, the study achievements of Passim7k can also be applied to Super9. In this sense, the research has the value of application and dissemination.
