Design And Research Of High-speed Cigarette-Cutting Device

The tobacco machinery level of our country has made a great progress during these years, however, there exists most pivotal technologies that have not been acquired, so we have to import them from abroad, this situation severely restricts the development of tobacco machinery in our country. This paper designs a new cigarette cutting device based on the existing one.This thesis consists of the following contents:the research background, research source and research meaning are discussed, the advantage and disadvantage of the existing cigarette cutting device are analyzed; parametric optimization design of the pivot rotary cigarette supporting device is done according to the request of the research project. The operating principle of the rotating cutter device is explained and the main parameters of the rotating cutter is optimally designed, thus a new kind of rotating cutter which has four cutting blades and can cut double-length cigarette is put forward, and a new magnetic force cutting feed device is also designed. Based on the mathematical model of cutting blade grinding curve, the controlling methods of cutting blade grinding curve is researched. The three-dimension cutting device model by Pro/ENGINEER is built, based on the dynamic simulation of the cutting device, the interference analysis, force analysis and vibration analysis during the movement are revealed. By means of Lanczos iterative method, model analysis of the cigarette cutting device is done, then the natural frequency of the cutter is obtained and the influence of the natural frequency on cigarette cutting is discussed.This thesis has adapted different kinds of digital optimization design methods and designed a new cigarette cutting device with four-knives and double-length cigarette cutting model, the suggested problems’analysis methods and achieved research results will lay foundations for futher manufacturing and applying this kind of device.
