Cigarette sorting system is an important part of the tobacco logistics system, whichis mainly responsible for sorting out appropriate number and type of cigarettesaccording to customer requirements. The measure of cigarette sorting includes: manualoperation sorting, semi-automatic sorting and automatic sorting. As high sorting speed,low input costs, small footprint, etc, Vertical semi-automatic sorting line have widelyused in municipal tobacco company. However, due to manual loading cigarette, Verticalsemi-automatic sorting line exist many problems, for example, requiring a lot ofmanpower, high labor intensity, slow loading cigarette, etc. Therefore, the realization ofautomatic loading cigarette of cigarette sorting line has become an urgent problemcurrently.This paper analyzes the cigarette sorting systems research status and designed aoverall plan for the mechanical structure of automatic loading cigarette device. Bymoduling design method, the model of horizontal loading cigarette device, verticalloading cigarette device I and vertical loading cigarette device II has been built.Horizontal loading cigarette device is mainly consisted of the modul of turning,translation and detrusion, the model of cache channel and the model of support. Verticalloading cigarette device is mainly consisted of the modul of turning, lifting anddetrusion, the model of cache support, the model of lifting, translation and detrusion.The principles of motion and the measure for driving has been deeply analysed.According to the workflow of the loading cigarette device, create a workflowmodel for sorting channel and loading cigarette device, respectively. The performanceof horizontal loading cigarette device, vertical loading cigarette device I and II has beentested. Using simulation software, test the system performance of the automatic loadingcigarette device, which consists of sub-module including sorting channel model andloading cigarette device model, and analyze the reason for downtime.This paper has studied the strategy of automatic loading cigarette, including thecigarette channel allocation strategy, the sequence strategy of cigarette orders and thesequence strategy of loading cigarette. Through optimizing automatic loading cigarette process, has improved performance of loading cigarette device. In the system of loading,by the modified loading cigarette strategy and the optimized loading cigarette model,makeing a simulation for sorting cigarette workflow and loading cigarette workflow. Inthe end, verify the scheme of loading device whether meet the design requirementsusing simulation method.
