Air environment is one of the most basic environmental elements to the survival of humans, with the rapid development of industrialization and urbanization, air pollution has become a global social public hazards. As one of the main provinces in central China, since the implementation of the strategy of "Central Rise", at the same time of rapid, stable and sustainable development, facing the problem of air pollution also not allow to be ignored. In 2013,Jiangxi Province started the environmental protection special action of "cleansing air? water?soil ", aims to improve the quality of air, water and soil environment and prevent further environmental risks.Based on the analyzing of domestic and foreign evaluation methods of air quality, the article uses the air pollution index, grey clustering analysis, the grey forecasting theory to evaluate the situation of the air environment in Jiangxi Province; uses the Environmental Kuznets Curve to fit on economic indicators and environmental indicators. Then we found that:(1) 2005-2014, SO2 and NO2 concentration of 11 cities in Jiangxi Province, can reach secondary air quality standards, but the particulate matter(PM10 primarily) cannot meet the secondary air quality standards. In addition, PM10 in three kinds of pollutants accounted for the largest also, according to the forecast, the share rate still has a tendency to rise in the future.(2)In addition to the provincial capital of Nanchang air quality as the light pollution, the city air quality of other 10 districts in nearly three years are on level of good. Jingdezhen, Ganzhou, Yichun, Ji'an, Fuzhou is better, Pingxiang, Jiujiang, Xinyu, Yingtan, Shangrao performance well. In 11 cities, Jingdezhen's air quality is the best, followed by Ganzhou. The worst air quality ranks in Nanchang and Pingxiang.(3)The traditional "inverted U" curve of each city is not used in the analysis of the relation between air quality and economic growth. With per capita GDP or permanent population density as the index of the curve fitting results show that the fitting curve of Nanchang and Yingtan have a downward trend, the two regions are in the benign development state. The current economic growth did not increase air pollution, we should continue to maintain the existing economic development strategy and environmental protection measures. But Jingdezhen, Xinyu, Ganzhou's air quality are on the trend of decline along with the economic development. The economic development of the three areas brought some impact on air environment. We must take corresponding measures and strengthen efforts to improve air environmental quality.
