Nowadays, garment industry in China entered into a stage of rapid developing, which led to the trend of a researching and developing in clothing fabrics. Too many kinds of fabric can be used in garment production. Different seasons require different types of clothing fabrics. For example, in spring and autumn, warm and breathable performance should be necessary, and it's best to also have the characteristics of lightness. As a routine imitation wool fiber, there is a good market base for acrylic fiber, the development of superfine shaped acrylic fabric is more worthy of discussing in applying in the field of clothing.Firstly, the physical and mechanical properties of superfine shaped acrylic fibers were part of the study, we mainly discussed the transverse and longitudinal section morphology and mechanical performance The study found that, on one hand, the ultrafine acrylic fiber shaped cross-section, looks like a dog-bone, also known as the double "T" shape, the gap between fiber and fiber is easy to store still air, which can achieve a more warm effect; On the other hand superfine shaped acrylic fiber maintaining a fineness of 0.9dtex, while at the same time with good tensile strength and other properties. We tested the conventional moisture regain of the superfine shaped acrylic fiber and found it get a 2.6% under standard condition. While we know that the conventional moisture regain of the common acrylic fiber rate between 1.2-2%. Thanks to the longitudinal grooves among superfine acrylic fibers, the grooves act as channels to get moisture out from fabrics. Moisture wicking ability of the fibers has been improved significantly. These superiorities of superfine shaped acrylic fibers compared with common acrylic fibers helped clearing the obstacles on its way to develop wearing fabrics.Having a preliminary understanding on the basis of the superfine shaped acrylic fibers, we designed 24 fabric of A, B two series, which are pure polyester and 80% polyester 20% viscose blended yarn for warp, change weft composition with ratio and fabric structure. Among them, the weft of two series were:100% viscose,100% combed cotton,16.5% acrylic 83.5% viscose, 25% acrylic 75% viscose,33% acrylic 67% viscose,50% acrylic 50% modal,50% acrylic 50% viscose. And we made five kinds transform organizational structure in 50% acrylic50% viscose cord fabric, compare with the right 2/2 twill weave fabric. We tested some performances including thermal resistance value and Crowe, air permeability, wicking height, wrinkle recovery angle, dynamic drape coefficient, anti-pilling grade projects for thermal characterization of the fabric, breathable performance, moisture wicking capabilities crease recovery properties, drape, pilling properties. Test results show that with the increase of ultrafine shaped acrylic fiber content, the thermal properties of the fabric, air permeability, moisture wicking properties, anti-wrinkle properties are gradually getting better; Drape of the fabric with the increase of superfine fibers not change much, but the fabric itself still shows good drape; Pilling performance with the increase of superfine shaped acrylic fibers content, anti-pilling performance has improved, but the impact of pilling performance decisive factor is not the content of ultrafine shaped acrylic fibers, but the fabric pilling performance of the worst fiber content.The study also found that the use of different fabrics according to the needs. Use superfine shaped acrylic fibers by making best use of the advantages and bypassing the disadvantages can get excellent performance fabrics. In the future research of superfine shaped acrylic fiber, we can blend it with a variety of natural and synthetic fibers or interwoven, developing high-grade fabric with excellent performance to get comfort. Gradually expand the application fields of superfine shaped acrylic fiber. Based on the data obtained in this paper, consider the next election in fabrics market condition, choose the most superior piece or pieces of fabric. Design a series of wearing fabric based on The Yangshao style. Combining the good performance and design to make superfine shaped acrylic fabric could get more consumers at the market.
