In recent years,the pharmaceutical industry has a rapid development,the pollution of VOCs is becoming more and more serious,but assessment on VOCs pollution control technology of the typical pharmaceutical industry is still not consummate,and the study on the kinds of VOCs and characteristics of detriment of the industry is rare in our country.In this study,emission characteristics and hazard assessment analysis of Volatile Organic Compounds from three typical pharmaceutical products,the purpose of this study is to write a guide of pollution control technology assessment system of VOCs typical pharmaceuticals,in order to provide a reference for the research of VOCs control policy of this industry.First of all,volatile organic compounds released from three types of typical pharmaceutical products were analyzed qualitatively and qualitatively.The total volatile organic compounds was in the range of 10.25~311.63 mg·m-3.Evaluation models of ozone formation potentials and health risk assessment were adopted to preliminarily assess the environmental impact and health risk of VOCs.The results showed that the values of OFP of VOCs were in the range of 5.46~876.03 mg·m-3,based on the maximum incremental reactivity,the main principal contribution was n-butyl alcohol,butyl acetate,triethylamine ether etc.The non-carcinogen risk fell in the ranges of 3.07×10-6~4.72×10-3 a-1 and the carcinogen risk was 1.3×10-4.The principal contribution of VOCs was benzene and methylene dichlorid.Secondly,in view of the application scope and status of VOCs control technologies from pharmaceutical industry,writing a guide of pollution control technology assessment system of VOCs typical pharmaceuticals.In view of the method of technical evaluation,using analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy synthetic method evaluated VOCs control technologies from pharmaceutical industry.The judgment also stand on the environment,economic,technical and social point.And provided a reference for the research of VOCs control policy of this industry.Finally,taking three types of typical pharmaceutical industry as an example,this study carry out research on 9 pharmaceutical industry and evaluated the corresponding technologies.According to the results of comprehensive evaluation,the result is: “ wheel+ catalytic combustion” > “activated carbon adsorption” > “ adsorption” from penicillinpharmaceutical industry;“ condensation + activated carbon adsorption” > “activated carbon adsorption” > “absorption” from amoxicillin pharmaceutical industry;“ condensati on+activated carbon adsorption” > “ plasma”>“absorption”from acetaminophen pharmaceutical industry.
