Submerged arc furnace is the main equipment for the production of calcium carbide and ferroalloy in China.At present,most of the simulation system is two-dimensional model,there are a few researches on the three-dimensional simulation system of the submerged arc furnace workshop.With the maturing of virtual reality technology,the combination of virtual reality and traditional industry has become a big direction of research,the virtual engine Unity3d and mainstream modeling software 3ds Max is used in this paper,by Datang International Renewable Energy Co.,Ltd.Erdos ferroalloy branch submerged arc furnace workshop as the research object,the design and development of virtual simulation system of submerged ore furnace workshop has important significance both in production control and guide teaching etc.The main research work of this paper is as follows:1.Through the analysis of field pictures and equipment process,focuing on the model from the creation,optimization to achieve texture mapping process.At the same time,the model is imported into Unity3d for scene management,which is the basis for the following research.2.The function of the system GUI interface is designed in Unity3d by analyzing the requirements of the system platform and each function module.Useing of the 3ds Max animation system and the Unity3d particle system,completed submerged ore furnace workshop equipment animation.And through C#programming,to achieve a interactive roaming,small maps,equipment browsing and ferrosilicon smelting process demonstration and other functions.3.The system was tested in Unity3d,and resolved the problems found during the test.After all the contents of the debugging is successful,the system will be released to the PC side,so as to complete the system design.
