With the deep implement of national strategy of "One Belt And One Road",and the all-round development of Xijiang Economic Belt and the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone,the economic development of Guangxi has entered into a sustained-highly-growing stage.However,the highly-growing development of society economy also directly brought the issues of ecological environment deterioration and tight tendency of resource restriction.Therefore,seeking the road of harmony common progress of economic development and ecological environment protection is an inevitable choice to promote the ecological civilization construction in Guangxi.Reports of the 18 th CPC National Congress emphasized the importance of ecological civilization construction of our country.In the new situation where there are resource restriction,environmental pollution and ecosystem deterioration,we must raise our ecological awareness of respect and protect the nature.So,study on evaluation of ecological civilization construction is great significance for promoting ecological civilization construction in Guangxi.In this paper,the ecological footprint method,which can quantitative research of the ecological pressure and capacity,has been adopted.According to residents consumption data,energy consumption data,land type data and the investigation practice date,the ecological footprint and ecological carrying capacity of Guangxi in2006 to 2015 was calculated,combined with the ecological footprint of ten thousand yuan GDP,the fossil energy footprint of ten thousand yuan GDP,ecological tension index(ETI),etc.to quantitatively research the level of ecological civilization construction in Guangxi.The STIRPAT model has been used to analyze the driving mechanism of the Guangxi ecological footprint,and the Grey Verhulst model has been used to predict the Guangxi ecological footprint from 2016 to 2025.The conclusion shows that:(1)In 2015,Guangxi six land types ecological footprint accounted for total ecological footprint: energy land 43.9%,forest land 30.8%,arable land 16.0%,construction land 5.1%,grass land 4.1%,water area 0.1%.Energy land and forest land proportion reached 70%,which means Guangxi's land type demand is unbalance.(2)In 2006-2015,with the development of economy,the ecological footprint has been raised year by year,and the per capita ecological footprint in Guangxi from0.7446 hm~2/cap to 1.3283 hm~2/cap,from ecological surplus 0.0022 hm~2/cap to ecological deficit 0.6674 hm~2/cap,the ecological environment has been seriously overloaded.(3)In the demand for various land types of gray correlation degree analysis,the correlation of biological resources producing land is the biggest,a large amount ofbiological resources consumption due to the life quality improved.In 2006-2015,Ecological footprint of ten thousand yuan GDP dropped from 0.788 hm~2 to 0.574 hm~2.Fossil energy footprint of ten thousand yuan GDP dropped from 0.317 hm~2 to 0.252hm~2,the energy resources use efficiency gradually improved.The ecological tension index rose from 0.596 to 1.127,the ecological environment at unsafe level.The ecological footprint Kuznets curve and fossil energy footprint Kuznets curve haven't appear the inflection point,which still in the economic growth accompanied by ecological pressure increase stage.The level of sustainable development of Guangxi in 2006-2015 have turned weak sustainable state to weak unsustainable status,The ecological environment become more unsustainable.(4)The per capital GDP growth play a most positive driving role of ecological footprint,the energy consumption per unit of GDP have negative driving effect.In next decade,the ecological footprint of Guangxi will still show a rising trend,the per capita ecological footprint will rise from 1.3283 hm~2/cap to 1.4943 hm~2/cap,but the ecological carrying capacity will decrease from 0.6609 hm~2/cap to 0.4685 hm~2/cap in2015-2025.Based on analysis results above,putting the restriction factors of Guangxi sustainable development into consideration,here we put forward some related suggestions to promote the ecological civilization construction in Guangxi,mainly includes: transforming the traditional method of consumption,improving energy utilization efficiency,paying more attention to the exploitation and promotion of clean energy,transforming the pattern of economic development,speeding up the adjustment of industrial structures,improving the quality of population and strengthening environmental protection education.
