In the past few years,there has been a sharp growth in the industries of construction,military,ship and bridge in our country,which demanded both the increase yield and the higher standard of straightness of section steel.Therefore,during the process of transportation and cooling after the shape of section steel,it is indispensable to straighten the deformation such as curve from side to inside,expansion from side to external,integral torsion,and the shape change of asymmetrical section.Both the straightness of length and smooth of fault surface can be sharply improved via the straightening of section steel.With the expansion of production scale,and the improvement of product quality requirement of the users',straightening has been paid more and more attention in the section production.As an important device of the finishing area,section straightener determines the quality and accuracy of the final product.it is mainly used for the profiles straightening,which includes the innerexpansion or outside expansion and the reverse of the flange,as well as non-symmetrical crosssection camber and so on.Thereby it can substantially improve the level of product quality and improve a variety of shape defects that produces during the process of theproductrolling,cooling and transporting.In this paper,based on the elastic-plastic bending and straightening theory,the stress and strain of the material and the curvature changes in the process of elastic-plastic bending of the rolling is analyzed.Using the anti-bending and straightening theory of rolling,the pressure of the closed section straightener is calculated.The large deformation straightening program to straighten is selected through the analysis.Based on the back and forth anti-bending and straightening theory,the energetic parameters of the straightener which meet the particular specifications of the section straightening requirements is analyzed,and the relevant parameters of the straightener is also calculated.The reduction of section straightener is theoretically calculated,the straightening force and bending moment of the straightening roller ring of section straightener is analyzed through the finite element software.Comparing the simulation results obtained by the finite element software with the theoretical calculation results,the foregoing theory of straightening is proved to be reasonable.Meanwhile,taking advantage of the finite element software to simulate the straightening process of the section,the changes of the internal stress in the straightening process of the section is analyzed.
