As the competition becoming severe in iron and steel industry,clients' requirements of steel products quality are more and more strict.In quality evaluation,medium plate is one of most visulized indicator,but plate quality is a defect of 4300mm steel plate factory of An Steel Group.As a result,4300mm thick steel plate factory reconstructed the straightening technology.This problem,meanwhile the reconstruction of equipment and production line requires newer and higher ability MES system.This thesis takes 4300 thick steel plate factory of Ansteel Group as exploiting entity,focus on its MES system design and applying research.Aiming on the reconstruction of equipment and production process,the analysis results of production data shows that thick steel plate flattening precision deficiency and deficiency of MES management can be solved by reconstruction MES system systematically.First,The analysis of the equipment features which have been changed after reconstructi on,the production process and production data reached following conclusion:1.The new flate nning system does not have integrated data support,the best data source is MES system.2.The current MES production tracking management system cannot satisfied the new production p rocess..For solving the above problems and discussing the meaning and function of MES system in solving problems.The new design of upgrading MES system which is upgrading MES system quality management model has been made,plan management model,production management model and communication model,each of them performs its own functions and cooperates with each other.This thesis introduces the background of exploiting,constraint condition and specify exploiting content.Based on each model feature,this thesis also illustrates the details of this project exploiting.After the successful implementation of the project system,the MES system not only solved the problem of the lack of data support for the new straightening equipment,but also solved the problem of production process control.Through the exploiting research and comparing with before,reached the following concl usion,the qualification rate of thick steel plate increased 3%,the production efficiency increa sed,the production process can be controlled effectively,the exploiting can reach the designed target.
