The tilting belt conveyor carries the safe transportation mission of mineral stone from underground to ground,and its safe and stable operation is one of the main factors to ensure the high yield of coal.Modern technology of coal production to achieve the mechanical automation,making the coal production and transportation efficiency has reached a rapid progress.Due to friction and collision of hard objects and other factors in the process of coal from the belt conveyor to the ground,will make the surface of conveyor belt wear scratches,over time these scratches gradually spread after the conveyor belt may cause damage to the situation.In order to ensure the safety of coal production,we need to replace the conveyor belt from time to time.In this paper,after comparing several kinds of belt replacing process and device,the main method of replacing the belt of the tilting belt conveyor had been studied.On the basis of the existing equipment,integrated device of the crawler drag and continuous belt replacing was designed for the tilting belt conveyor.This can realize the old belt rolling simultaneously with the laying of the new belt and the continuous non-stop work.This method will improve the efficiency and save manpower and resources.Combined with the condition of the tilting belt conveyor,we established the process of continuous belt replacing device with using crawler drag.The overall composition,the mechanical structure,the hydraulic system and the electrical control system of the belt replacing device were designed.The key components of the mechanical structure include adjustable angle chassis,pull and release chassis with a detailed design.After analyzing the principle of replacing the belt,the hydraulic system of the device was designed,and the workflow and function of each circuit of the system were described and the hydraulic system schematic diagram was drawn,after using Automation Studio software to simulate the hydraulic system and analyzing dynamic characteristics of it.According to the simulation results of each circuit system,the correctness of the hydraulic system was confirmed.At last,the electronic control system was designed,its working principle was introduced,and the electrical schematic diagram and PLC control chart were drawn.In order to validate the rationality of belt changing device structure,the experiment of sine sweep method in LMS modal testing system is done.And the modal simulation of the track belt pulling mechanism carried through ANSYSWorkbench,the natural frequency data is determined compared to the crawler traction continuous belt device.The device structure is improved locally compared with the vibration experiment data and the natural frequency.It can effectively avoid the resonance problem and accidents,and greatly prolongs the service life of the equipment.The simulation study was carried out on the cylinder clamping circuit,the antirunning belt clamping circuit and the motor belt loop in the hydraulic system by Automation Studio.The response time of the fuel tank with the accumulator or not was analyzed,as well as the changes of system pressure and input flow when the load of hydraulic motor and the pump displacement were variable.The results showed that it was beneficial to decrease response time with accumulator?Besides,the input pressure of the hydraulic motor increases with the weight of the load tape.The larger of the pump displacement,the greater the input flow rate of the motor,and the faster the belt speed changing.Perform a dynamic test to test the range of tensile force and clamping force produced under different system pressures.In order to determine the design of replacing the conveyor belt device can be used for industrial operations.The experimental results obtained the range of the tensile force and the clamping force of the device under different working conditions,and the condition of the device was determined.And then the field industrial test by using continuous belt replacing device with using crawler drag was carried out in main and inclined wells of one coal mine company in Shanxi Province.The experimental process was described and the results were analyzed.The force in the belt was in the range of the tensile force measured by the dynamic experiment,and it fluctuated a little.Meanwhile,the clamping force remains the same.
