The fact of global warming has risen to the height of national security,and greenhouse gas emission reduction is urgent.Soon the international community made a positive response.After multi-round negotiations and friendly consultations,the international community finally reached an agreement,and introduced the "United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change" and "Kyoto Protocol".The Convention and Kyoto Protocol are at the heart of the international community's efforts to address climate change.The Clean Development Mechanism?CDM?is one of the three compliance mechanisms proposed by Kyoto Protocol.Its central idea is to allow developed countries to transfer and access emission reductions of project levels with developing countries in order to achieve country's' emission reduction targets.The implementation site of the project is in the developing countries.Aiming at the CDM methodology,this paper did detailed research about domestic and foreign literatures,and carried on the study,analysis and research of EB related documents,approved methodologies and project development documents.Besides,determination and compilation of methodologies also have been researched systematically,especially the calculation of greenhouse gas emissions in the mode of crop-livestock.Using the case analysis method and the quantitative analysis method,this thesis focused on the fixation to baseline,determination of boundary and calculation of emission reduction.Conclusions of small-scale CDM project methodology applied to crop-livestock model were drawn:?1?Project boundary:?1?Dairy manure management system: CH4 and N2O emissions due to dairy manure management;?2?Planting system: Changes in carbon stocks due to planting systems;?3?Energy consumption: CO2 emissions generated by consumption of energy since these systems put into the manufacture of machinery,transportation and use while running.?2?Baseline scenario:?1?The manure management is anaerobic manure treatment;?2?Manure treated by anaerobic manure system are put into cropland;?3?The farm uses fossil fuel as energy use.?3?Calculation of emission reductions: According to the fixation of the baseline,the calculation formulas of greenhouse gas emission reduction are found,and the sources of the relevant parameters in formulas are determined.?4?Proof of additionality: Project activities may demonstrate the additionality by showing that there is no regulation in China,applicable to the project site that requires the collection and destruction of methane from livestock manure.If so,it is not required to apply the "Guidelines on the demonstration of additionality of small-scale project activities".This paper used a specific case,a scale dairy farm in Haidian District,Beijing,to analyze the greenhouse gas emission.After calculation,this farm can reduce 2931.23 tCO2 emissions a year through the implementation of crop-livestock model of small-scale CDM projects.Thus,this farm can get additional emission reduction income about more than 150,000 yuan.
