During the thirteenth five year of China,energy development is facing unprecedented opportunities and challenges,According to the prophase research of the thirteenth five year,the total length of natural gas pipeline will be up to 150,000 km including feeder pipeline,and the total transmission capacity will be up to 480 billion cubic meters per year.In view of the complexity of the natural gas transmission pipeline and the long-term of pipeline operating,how to realize the safe operation of pipelines and ensure the stability of gas supply is the key point of research.The software SPS is used in this paper to build the calculating model of parallel lines which include the Second West-East,Third West-East and Fourth West-East Pipeline System,and the independent operation of Fourth West-East Pipeline Systemand associated operation of Second and Third West-East pipeline systems are stimulated in the built model,also the energy consumptions of the two operation modes areanalyzed in comparison.At the same time,the Fourth West-East Pipeline Systemunder two operation modes in different temperatures and different throughputs are analyzed.The compressor standby mode is also taken into account in this paper.And then,simulation analyze is done for many kinds of accidents,such as the failure of compressor stations,the failure of pipeline,the failure of gas supply and so on,which could provide references for the operation and repair of pipeline under accidents.Finally,design of Lianmuqin-zhongwei pipeline is done under the independent operation of Fourth and Fifth West-East Pipeline System,which is aimed to determine the pipediameter,operation pressure,suitable inlet and outlet pressure and the number of compressor stations.Then the energy consumptions of air cooler in different exit temperatures are compared.
