Research On Small Town Street Space Environment In Cold Region Based On Space Syntax

With the construction of small towns, the rapid expansion of small townsconstruction have gradually emerged showing urban construction urban style similar,qualities trends disappeared. It makes traditional small towns' unique texture space,country style, neighborhood relations, cultural characteristics disappear ed. Thestreets of small towns act as embryonic development of small towns and the carrierof living culture. Its space environment, not only did the small town characterthrough research and planning guidance to bring the overall coordination, brightbeautiful picture, there is no integration with the environment, with the local cultureand modern unique style. Based on these problems, the streets of small towns on thecold space environment were analyzed, hoping for the current construction of smalltowns to provide reference and basis for making decision.This paper first analyzes the small town street space environment research andspace syntax theory methodology, discusses the space environment of small towns'streets application on space syntax, and determines the feasibility of space syntaxmethod in space environment research. Then, it studies three types of small townsinclude regular, free, mixed types, and selects typical small towns in cold regions.Take Fanjiatun town, Boketu town, Tongerpu Town as typical case to make fieldinvestigation and research on three typical town street environment. This papermakes syntactic analysis and related research on three aspects, including the streetpatterns, functional layout and environmental perception. On the level of the streetmorphological characteristics, it uses the connection and control value, integrationand choice date, network density in street space syntax parameter, to analysis threetypes of street morphological characteristics on the points of street layout structure,network performance and organization characteristics. On the level of the streetfunctional layout characteristics, it uses the local integration, walking index andtopological distance in street space syntax parameter, to analysis three types ofstreet functional layout characteristics on the points of street functional selection,potential distribution and commercial viability. On the level of the environmentperception effect, it makes syntactic analysis from four perspectives, including thesimulation of sight under the effect of street sights feature, agents simulate thebehavior of the robot trajectory characteristics, spatial scales associated with spaceexploration logic analysis, private-public spaces and perception of safetyassociation analysis. Thus it forms a comprehensive analysis of three types of townstreet environment characteristics.Three types of town street space environment are summarized in cold region, analyzing the major problems and causes of small towns in cold region and trying tofind social, economic and cultural factors on the street space and the associatedenvironmental impacts. Finally, it refines the build environment suitable small townstreet space model. Then it summaries the town street space design strategies basedon syntactic context, and proposes the corresponding countermeasures to controland guide the construction of small towns street, including a special protection andcontrol content. It is made for the health of small towns, providing a reference basisfor sustainable development.
