But the traditional artificial electricity statistical methods has not adapted to the present job requirements in our country which is quickly developing. Designing a scientific and reasonable electric energy information acquisition and monitoring system is particularly important.The main contents of this paper are: Firstly, the article introduces the research background and significance of the electric energy information acquisition and monitoring system, as well as research status of the electric energy information acquisition and monitoring system, and the main research method. Secondly, the article introduces some theories of the electric energy information acquisition and monitoring system, such as the implications of the electric energy information acquisition system, the development of electric energy information acquisition system, the constitution of the electric energy information acquisition system, the meaning of management information system, the development of management information system, the development principle of management information system, the related technologies of the electric energy information acquisition and monitoring system and so on; Third, the paper mainly studies the requirement analysis of the electric energy acquisition and monitoring system for Inner Mongolia, it mainly includes the current situation analysis of the current system of Inner Mongolia, the feasibility analysis of the design of electric energy acquisition and monitoring system, the main business analysis of electric energy information acquisition and monitoring, such as system management business analysis, file management business analysis, operation management business analysis, data using business analysis, line loss management business analysis, report management business analysis and so on.
