In recent years, under the trend of global energy saving and emission reduction, building energy efficiency, developing green building and circular economy policy have attracted extensive attention of domestic and overseas researchers. It is imperative to develop green, environmental protection, and energy saving building materials. Tradi tional exterior wall insulation board is a organic sheets, such as polyurethane foam, polystyrene foam.It has the advantages of good thermal insulation and machinability, but its application is limited owing to the aging and burning. In the last few years, it has been more and more strict to control the fireproof performance due to the frequent fire accidents. Therefore, decorative wall thermal insulation energy saving system integ ration is becoming increasingly popular in the field of building energy efficiency.In this paper, cement based foam insulation material was prepared by using ordinary portland cement(P.O42.5) as the main cementitious material and physical foaming process. Animal composite foaming agent, plant modified foaming agent and plant foaming powder were used as foaming agents. the effects of foaming agents, water cement ratio, proportion of glass fiber, expanded pearlite, polyphenyl granule and waterproofing agent on the performance of the cement based foam insulation materials was studied. The optimal mix proportion of cement based foam insulation material was determined. Then, into the whole board of set decoration and insulation function in the intergration was obtained by an adhesive composite building ceramic plate with cement based foam insulation material.Results showed that cement based foam insulation material was successfully prepared by animal composite foaming agent, plant modified foaming agent and plant foaming powder. And the result of the plant modified foaming agent was better than others. The liquidity of cement slurry was improved and the distribution of foam in the slurry was homogeneous utilizing appropriate water cement ration. When water cement ration was too large or too small, the phenomenon of uneven poreof cement based foam insulation material occurred. With the water cement ration increased gradually, the pore size, the dry density and compressive strength of cement based foam insulation material decreased. When water cement ration was 0.5, better properties of materials were got, such as spherical pores of samples, thicker pore walls, suitable aperture, and good micro morphologies of cross section. The pore structure was effectively improved by adding appropriate amount of glass fiber and lightweight aggregate(expanded pearlite and polyphenyl granule) and waterproofing agent into the cement based foam insulation material.Similarly, the distribution of pore was even, and pore size was reduced. In addition, porosity, closed pore and spherical stomata were increased. Hence, the thermal insulation properties of cement based foam insulation material were significantly improved. The values of compressive strength of materials increased by adding appropriate amount of glass fiber. Meanwhile, the foam was not easy to broke, and the dry density of cement based foam insulation material also reduced because the glass fiber had a protective effect on the foam. When lightweight aggregates, such as single expanded pearlite and adding polyphenyl granule, were added into the cement based foam insulation material,, the dry density, compressive strength and water absorption of materials slightly reduced The cement based foam insulation material within different dosage of waterproofing agent had different effects on various properties. A hydrophobic mesh film was formed and uniformly distributed on the microcracks and pore surface in the sample, by adding an appropriate amount of waterproofing agent into the cement based foam insulation material. And the waterproof properties of the specimen were improved. Therefore, when plant modified foaming agent was used as foaming agents, and water cement ratio was 0.5, and proportion of glass fiber was 1.5%, and expanded pearlite and polyphenyl granule mixing ration was 1:2, as well as proportion of organosilicon waterproofing agent was 4%, 28 d dry density and compressive strength of cement based foam insulation material were 298kg/m3 and 1.43 MPa, respectively. Additional, volumetric water absorption and thermal conductivity were 17.32% and 0.061W/(m·K), separately. Moreover, it was found that the laboratory self made adhesive was the best adhesive of building ceramic thin plate composited with cement based foam insulation material by studying the laboratory self made adhesive, bisphenol A epoxy resin adhesive and polyurethane adhesive.
