Power, as a kind of resources, not only is essential for people's daily life and work, but also has an important role for the development of the national economy. With the improvement of people's living standards and the development of economy, the power supply is becoming more and more serious. In order to use the power resources more fully, effectively and reasonably and accurate grasp the power situation of the user, power load management system began to enter people's vision. The power load management system terminal is the most basic and important part of the management system. According to monitor and control the power load of user and recommend the rational power using, the peak load shifting of power load and improvement of grid load curve can be achieved. It can reduce the grid pressure and ensure security and stable operation of power grid.Based on the detailed analysis of power load management system terminal function requirements, combining with actual conditions of our country, a new type of power load management system terminal is designed to meet the needs of power load management system terminal on the basis of advanced electronic technology in this paper.Firstly, the detailed analysis and research for the power load management system is carried out and three parts of power load management system are described in detail. On the basis of above, this paper puts forward the functional requirements and technical indicators of the power load management system terminal.Secondly, the hardware and software platform of power load management system terminal are designed. In the-hardware design, the overall design is completed based on the idea of modular. And the various functional units of the terminal are analyzed in detail. The functional units include main control module, data acquisition module, memory module, human-computer interaction module, communication module and power supply module. The circuit principle of each module is analyzed. The data acquisition module is designed based on the special power chip ATT7022B. The whole system structure is simple and the performance is stable, safe and reliable. In software design, the overall architecture is designed based on the structured design method. The main software units, including main program module, data acquisition module, load control module and communication module, are designed in detail. And the flow chart of each software module is given.Thirdly, the performance for the power load management system terminal is tested and analyzed on the basis of the completion of the hardware and software design. The tests include functional test and electromagnetic compatibility test. The test results show that the terminal performance is good and can completely meet the design requirement.Finally, the applied researches of the power load management system terminal are carried out. And the two most important applications, power demand side management and online anti electric larceny, are described.Power load management system terminal is the inevitable choice for the development of the smart power grid. With the increasingly prominent energy issues in China, we believe that the application of power load management system terminal will be more extensive in the future. And the research of this paper can provide useful reference for the design of the intelligent power load management system terminal.
