Research On The Transformation Of Old Industrial Buildings Into The Commercial Space

With the development of the city and the adjustment of industrial structure, a large number of old industrial buildings have been idle and the original suburbs became the city center or sub center, and the value of the land to get a lot of ascension. Now under the principle of function replacement old industrial buildings which have been transformed into other functions is revitalizing, commercial is an important category of the old industrial building transformation getting the normal operation of the whole project and relieving the lack of commercial facilities in city area to achieve regional economic recovery.How to make the transformed commercial space retain the characteristics of the industrial culture and satisfy the trend of commercial space design is an important issue.Therefore,this paper focuses on the study of the transformation of old industrial buildings for commercial space.This paper uses the writing logic of “finding the problem,analyzing the problem and solving the problem”,Studying the related cases is to found the problems after the transformation of the old industrial buildings.Then the writer takes advantage of the way of architectural design to analysis these problem and summary the method of the transformation of old industrial buildings into the commercial space according to the trend of commercial space.Chapter 1 : the paper just introduces the research contents and the relevant theoretical research at home and abroad and puts forward the problem which to solve.Chapter 2:At first we analysis the motivation of old industrial buildings' transformation and the value of the protection of old industrial buildings,further discuss the applicability and strategy of the transformation of old industrial buildings into commercial space;also the trend of commercial space.Chapter 3:We investigate three examples of the transformation of old industrial buildings in shanghai, shenzhen and xi'an.and study classification of commercial space organization form which is the transformation of old industrial buildings and Existing problems.Chapter 4:We summary the design method of the transformation of old industrial buildings in the commercial space including of interior renovation, interior space commercial atmosphere, the transformation of the external space landscape,fire protection and energy saving.to make the old industrial buildings have physical properties with business functions.Further we propose the construction of "industrial culture" experience scene in commercial space according to the trend of the commercial space design.Chapter 5:We summary the thinking of the transformation of old industrial buildings in the commercial space.
