Empirical Study On Comfort Of Primary And Secondary School Outdoor Playgrounds

Outdoor playground is one of the most important space in school buildings.In the past designs,we used to only concerned about the size and function of outdoor playgrounds in primary and secondary school,but always ignore research on comfort of it.That leads to outdoor playgrounds in some schools failed to play a full role.Aiming at this situation,I will use the method of case study to analysis the thermal environment,wind environment comfort of Beijing Normal University,Inner Mongolia Helingeer County Secondary School and Ningxia Qingtongxia City No.2 Middle School.By the support of STREAM,IES<VE>,Autodesk Ecotect Analysis,I would analyse the thermal environment,air environment of existing campus,find shortcoming of the main outdoor playgrounds and summary targeted optimization strategy.In order to improve the comfort of outdoor playgrounds,we should avoid funneling wind,corner wind,shadow of buildings in winter,and avoid heat island,scroll zone,serious insolation in summer.And based on empirical analysis of three cases of primary and secondary schools,we can draw the conclusion of the comfort optimization strategy of diferent school layout,like peripheral layout,staggered layout,and determinant layout.
