Stone arch bridge in China is widely applied especially in the mountain area of southwest,and this bridge is an earlier bridge in our country because of its advantages in the history and valuable achievements.However,with time going on,under the influence of time,load and climate environment,many stone arch bridges have been damaged,material deterioration,durability and bearing capacity are reduced,which seriously affect the normal operation of the stone arch bridge,endangering people's lives and safety.Therefore,using scientific and reasonable method to evaluate the health status of the stone arch bridge,and to discover and deal with the potential safety hazard,the timely and reasonable maintenance management of the stone arch bridge is an urgent problem to solved.This paper explored a new bridge detection method——the comprehensive evaluation specification layered combined with five bridges single control index of comprehensive evaluation method recommended in "Highway bridge technical condition evaluation standard"(H21-2011 JTG/T),and the method of combining service bridge health assessment model is established,analysis to determine the bridge service operations,combined with the two stone arch bridge in Chongqing city,the research object is studied,and this paper provides scientific basis for the management,maintenance and maintenance.The main research contents include:(1)Based on the comprehensive detailed and thorough examination results of the main structure of the stone bridge and its subsidiary structure disease and damage,the location and nature of the disease or potential disease,injury severity and the development trend are found out,in the same time,the main reasons for the defect produced are analyzed.(2)Base on the comprehensive evaluation specification layered combined with five bridges single control index of comprehensive evaluation method recommended in "Highway bridge technical condition evaluation standard"(H21-2011 JTG/T),a comprehensive inspection and evaluation of stone arch bridge technical condition is conducted.On the base of the comprehensive evaluation method,for this particular bridge-stone arch bridge,from the structure importance,the status of disease development,rock composition,rock structure and fracture development degree,climate,topography and other six aspects of weights are detailed,at last,more real technical situations of stone arch bridge are achieved.(3)According to the comprehensive evaluation method,the technical status of the stone arch bridge,the technical status of the stone arch bridge,the influence of the quality of the stone arch bridge,the necessity of the special inspection of the stone arch bridge is analyzed.(4)Integrated assessment and evaluation method of the five kinds of bridge single control index is applied to the engineering practice of the two bridges.Combined withthe evaluation data of them,the paper presents a comprehensive assessment method to evaluate the technical status of stone arch bridge.The results show that the comprehensive evaluation method is feasible and effective for the evaluation of stone arch bridge.
