Nowadays, the construction of smart grid is faced with two problems which are urgent to be solved, one is the lengthened construction period, and the other is professional fusion. Therefore, it is of great necessity to reposition the station overall functional requirements and equipment configuration based on overall sight of the Smart Substation to realize the transformation of grid technology mode and construction mode, as the society is under great development.Based on this perspective, the conventional limits of the equipment-supplier-leading mode are broken in this paper, and the brand-new mode "design-leading equipment manufacturing" is proposed, which is designed for the key techniques in the field of intelligent substation, and is relying on the pilot projects for national network. The following several aspects of work are focused:1. The concept of an intelligent module's integration with the primary equipment in place and a design and manufacturing mode of the intelligent primary equipment are proposed. And an integrated secondary equipment bidding and procurement mode is put forward, which realizes the innovation of the project construction mode.2. Analyzing the new generation of intelligent station integrated optimization design technology qualitatively from two dimensions, the structure optimization of secondary equipment screen cabinet and devices, and the function optimization and integration of the secondary system. A configuration principle and a typical partition scheme of the secondary system modularization are presented. Combined with the development of the current integrated manufacturing industry, the integrated optimization design technology and modular design technology are applied to the prefabricated combination secondary equipment module. What's more, relying on the optimal integrated configuration of the secondary equipment of the total station in the project of 110kV substation located in Huangshanhao Village, typical modular configuration scheme of secondary system in 11 OkV outdoor AIS substation is then proposed.3. Typical schemes of cable wiring installation are illustrated. And the total prefabricated cable statistics are made under the typical interval division. For the secondary standard interface, statistics of aviation plug and ferrule are also made to regulate the "plug to use" technology standardization design, which has a certain reference value to the following intelligence substation construction.4. Results summary and expectations about the application and practice of high integration intelligent primary equipment, small environmental protection equipment and modular construction strategy in intelligent substation optimization design are elaborated.A new generation of intelligent substation using integrated design, supply integration, integration debug mode, which achieves the goal of "smaller covering area, less cost, higher reliability", reaches a new technology level of "system highly integrated, structure rationally distributed, equipment advanced and applicable, economical, environmental friendly and energy saving, support and dispatch in one".
