If the region's economic development has higher levels, can help with demand generation of railway passenger and freight transportation. Which will speed up the progress of railway construction; Otherwise poorly developed economies will put a brake on development of railway transportation. Countries cannot increase spending to construct the transportation facilities, which causes that economic conditions has become the bottleneck of development of railway transportation.On the whole, rail transport is an important factor in developing a regional economy and the development of regional economy in turn promotes the scientific development of railway transportation. The railway traffic accessibility has a close relationship between regional economic development, and they restrict mutually. Enhance the accessibility of railway transportation system will bring huge economic benefits to area. To coordinate development this relationship is an important way to promote stable and healthy development of the city. But a coordinated development between has its drawbacks in our country at present which needs urgent attention. Meanwhile we haven't proper awareness the this close relationship of them which is a common phenomenon in our society today. Coordinate relationship are not taken seriously and these interactions of railway and regional economic have been little studied. In the era of economic globalization, this study has significant meaning.In this dissertation, firstly, the relevant theories and research results at home and abroad are systematically combed, and then relevant concepts on railway transportation accessibility and regional economy are introduced at length. The relationship and mutual influence between the railway transportation accessibility and the regional economic development are investigated qualitatively. The relevant policies and proposals of railway layout and railway construction for characteristic of economic region according to the actual situation of China's economic development.
