Coal-dominated energy structure results in high total nitrogen oxide emissions,exacerbated our country air pollution composite formation, and added the control of nitrogen oxide emissions pressure. Reduce of nitrogen oxides become the thermal power plant following the dust removal, desulfurization of gaseous pollutant emission control focus.Based on the way to generate and control method of coal-fired thermal power units NOX,it introduces the device that unit 2×300MW don't be modified in the third Baotou Thermal Power Plant, and through diagnostic tests on the impact of nitrogen oxide emissions units of various factors analyzed to determine the third Baotou Thermal Power Plant unit 2×300MW denitration modification program for the adoption of low nitrogen burners and selective catalytic reduction two-step process route. Firstly, low nitrogen burners modification measures in the NOX emission concentration at 300mg/Nm3 or less,then further considering the influence of quality variation, design margin left under reduction conditions to take SCR process, the NOX concentration will be reduced from400mg/Nm3 to 80mg/Nm3 or less, SCR denitration efficiency of 80% or more is required,ultimately meet NOX emission concentration is less than 100mg/Nm3, stable discharge standards of environmental protection requirements.After the modification of the 300 MW coal-fired thermal power unit, the third Baotou Thermal Power Plant 2×300MW units of nitrogen oxides emission reduction effect is remarkable. Denitration system in the boiler 100%, 75%, 50% denitrification efficiency test load conditions, flue gas denitration system parameter test, the denitration system pressure drop test, ammonia slip rate testing, SO2 /SO3 conversion measures, ammonia consumption testing, insulation equipment surface temperature and noise monitoring equipment and other main tests are satisfactory.Flue gas denitrification modification project implementation, not only to achieve the total NOX emissions of about 5643 tons, environmental and social benefits significantly,the power plant will significantly reduce annual NOX emission charges. Thus, coal-fired thermal power denitration modification to improve the quality of the atmospheric environment and maintain sustainable and healthy development of the power industry is significant.
