The Development Of The Control System For Marine Power Station Simulator Based On PLC

As a member of the International Maritime Organization IMO,China must perform the STCW78/95 convention.According to the STCW78/95 convention,it has defined that the engineer must pass through the turbine simulator training.The simulator of ship power station is an important part of marine engine simulator,it is also an important essential training equipment to cultivate management talents of marine electrical and engineering.First,in this paper,the development process of domestic and foreign turbine simulator,and their respective characteristics are introduced.After reading numerous papers,studying the simulator of ship power station domestic and overseas,and analyzing the characteristics and teaching function needed,the control simulator and method have established.The simulator is based on the fifth generation container ship 5600 TEU as a model,which ship power station has advanced control system,therefore it is consider as the basic simulation object of ship power station simulator.There are three generator panel and a shaft generator panel in ship power station simulator,and it truly can be reproduced of all functions of ship power station.Considering the fault of simulation of ship power station,the setting up principles are as follow: one is according to the ship power station which should have the protection function,that means the simulation can simulate the fault within some ship power protection function.The second is to set the fault according to the which may occur and teaching wish during the operation of ship power station.It have powerful function and the excellent teaching effect of it is obtained.In terms of the control mode,it is better to use PLC to control simulator by careful analysis.The PLC has the characteristics of high working speed,perfect working stability,and PLC as a new technology and new equipment,it has been widely applied to control the ship system,therefore it is extremely suitable for the control of the simulator.The GCS-1 series PLC which design by SUPCON is chosen in this simulator.Is chosen as the lower position machine,PLC in the simulator system is to control specific task.The PC is uses PIMS configuration software to establish afriendly man-machine interface and to provide a status display?alarm records and other functions.The overall tests have been carried out after the simulator finished.
