A Selection Study On The Type Of Urban Large Parking Lots By Considering Location And Environment Factors

With the rapid growth of urban vehicle ownership, the conflict between vehicle parking supply and demand has become one of the core issues of urban transport. To solve the urban parking problem, it is important to develop a reasonable and efficient urban parking facilities planning strategy. In recent years, Shanghai, Nanjing and many other cities have issued a series of policies to encourage the develoment of urban underground parking and multi-storey car parks. But the government of these cities mainly focus on urban centers, lack of in-depth study about the selection of parking lot type within the urban area. Therefore, this paper is to study how to choose the proper type of car park under the consideration of the location and environment factors. The results are meaningful and valuable to the planning of urban parking facilities.Firstly, the basic concept of urban large parking lot is given, and the features of different construction type of the large parking lot are compared, then the common type of car parks in china and abroad cities are summed up.Secondly, summed up the urban location type and common urban location classifcication. Refer to the relevant literature and historical trading data, the experience range of the overall cost of different large car parks are given. By calculating overall cost of largecar parks in different urban location, large parking selection econmy are analyzed and summarized.Again, the environmental impact constitutes of large car parks are analyzed, several parking air quality analysis method are given. To caculate the urban environment and the internal environmental impact of car parks, the empirical model is used to compare the vehicle exhaust emissions of different parking lot types and its impact on the environment.Then, through analyzes the characteristics of urban parking type selection problem, the selection of urban parking type model based on the Multiple Objective Decision Theory is proposed. By comparison sequentially the advantages and disadbantage of different stages of multi-objective decision theory, combined with the selection urban parking problem, the process of urban large car parks selection planning is presented under the consideration of urban location and environmental factors.Finally, this paper takes the urban area of Nanjing as a case study. The fuzzy clustering analysis method is selected as the location cluster analysis method. Based on the clustering results, the usage of Nanjing parking and the behavior of car parks users is investigated. The combination weighting method that based on the maximun variance is used to obtain the attribute weights.Then use TOPSIS obtain arternative parking type plan sort row, and based on the results of sort, the analyze of the suitable parking type of different location of city Nanjing is given.
