With the rapid development of national economy in our country and the continuous improvement of people's living standards, the amount of the car had been rapid increasing, it is difficult to find parking space whether you are going out or coming back, which is not only the most troublesome problems for urban residents' current life, but also a social problem should be solved at time. Parking garage is the most effective way to solve these problems, and its advantage is the small footprint and high efficiency vehicle access. The garage intelligent automation is the main direction of development of contemporary garage. To study the design and manufacture of intelligent parking garage, and then how to improve the garage access efficiency that has a very important practical significance.This subject first introduces nine categories of parking facilities: lifting and transferring category, simple lifting type, vertical circulation category, the level of circulating type, planar movement class, multi-loop type, laneway type, vertical lifting and automotive special lifting class then through the above types of three-dimensional garage comparative analysis, choose the main object of study- Tower parking garage. Then to analysis and comparison its control system scheme: Relay control program, SCM control program and programmable logic controller program, select the programmable logic controller as the core element of tower parking control system; analysis car garage access policy based on queuing theory algorithms, and establish the mathematical model of tower parking system by queuing theory; by MATLAB simulation analysis, obtained that place to wait strategy, fetch the car priority strategy and parking priority strategy have obvious advantages to improve the operational efficiency compared with the traditional control method.According to the selected plan of the tower parking garage control system, to research and design the hardware part of the control system, then analysis the principle of the main electrical components and select electrical components models, such as: select Mitsubishi Design Production FX2N-128 MR programmable logic controller as the core controller; accordance with the garage operational control requirements, to write control system software program which is based on place to wait strategy, fetch the car priority strategy and parking priority strategy; according to the requirements, establish the experimental platform and study queuing theory algorithms that is used in the garage platform, analysis the used time and energy consumption results of these three strategies in access vehicles, verify that place to wait is the best strategy of the tower parking garage access cars strategies, which tackle the problem of contemporary tower car parking garage access low efficiency, high energy consumption, largely achieved tower parking system vehicle access optimization path.
