With the development of economics and industrial production, industrial production mode for which the cooperation between enterprises and product match as representative has formed. Product selection design plays an important role in this mode. However, there exits difference between the demand side and suppliers about the understanding of the product attributes, which has a great impact on product selection. In the control valve production process according to order, users' control valve selection problem has seriously affected the production of enterprises. The corresponding solutions are presented in this paper based on the technology of control valve selection. An intelligent control valve selection system based on Web is built at the same time.Combining the status of control valve selection with construction technology of product information model and intelligent recommendation technology, this paper designed system structure that support pre sales service of industrial production. Then object oriented control valve product information model has been constructed. And intelligent product selection algorithm based on fuzzy evaluation is put forward in this paper, which includes apply demand and product attributes characterization methods based on fuzzy set and design of generalized paste progress similarity evaluation method based on fuzzy characterization. And decision experiment analysis method is used to determine the weights of the attributes. Intelligent selection based on fuzzy evaluation has been realized in this paper.The operating process of the system can be described as following. First, users input their fuzzy demand in the system. Then the fuzzy demand recommending part of the system inputs the products to be selected to control valve product information model. Finally, product result is recommended to users.Intelligent selection system designed in this paper is proved effective and practical through experiments. And the system is confirmed promoting the economic benefit of the pre sale after the practical improvement and practical application of control valve production enterprises.
