Research On Maintenance And Renovation Technology For The Modern Historical Buildings

As material heritage of the special historical period,historical early-modern architecture is the important witness of the modern history.Keeping them in sound status for more time by appropriate maintenance and repair measures can prolong the vigor of local early-modern architecture as well as promote national spirit and patriotism by taking advantage of such historical early-modern architecture.Proper maintenance and conservation of historical early-modern architecture is helpful to take better advantage of them,offers a valid way to consummate urban function and improve taste of city,and plays a very important and realistic role in the development of urban economic industries as well as history and culture of city.The historical early-modern architecture hasn't been nationally eroded or destroyed materially due to their particular architectural characteristics and construction time later than ancient architecture.In addition,their availability is much higher than other cultural relics and historic sites due to the maintenance received in the process of utilization.However,along with the increase of service life,the effect caused by natural erosion and damage is shown day by day.Meanwhile,some historical early-modern buildings are over used as scenic spots,so the structure and decorative surface of most historic buildings have suffered damage and aging.Due to the special historical stage,the Qingdao architectural remains one of the most populous city is China's historical early-modern buildings.Along with the development of urban construction in the recent years,the existing function,structure,material performance and internal decoration of historical buildings can hardly meet the demand of the current society.If it's merely intended to repair the damaged,it will result in late conservation of construction,and even cause damage to the architectural structure during construction as well as some historic and culture loss.It's necessary to perfume maintenance and repair with scientific measure and valid method for the purpose of reviving the historical buildings in modern city.This paper carries out preliminary investigation and study on the historical early-modern architecture of Qingdao,collects plenty of original material,and conducts delicate mapping and recording.It draws the conclusion that scientific and cutting-edge maintenance and repair methods can resolve the conservation and repair problem of historic architecture properly,permit their existing history and appearance to remain,expand their functions to meet the social demands of new times,fulfill the effect of fixing the old in the way it is and integrating new decoration into the old,and activate its commercial and economic value.
