Research On The Application Of Traditional Building Stones In Huizhou

The dissertation takes the traditional buildings in Huizhou as the research object,regards dimension stones as the vehicle of study,to induces and analyzes the types and application of traditional dimension stone by semantic ontology and case study.Then the application techniques and principles of dimension stones in new architecture of Huizhou style would be proposed.The dissertation introduces the relative concepts of traditional Hui-style architecture,new Hui-style buildings,dimension stones,studies the theories and reviews the literature.The data of cases according with dimension stones in traditional and new buildings of Huizhou style were collected by field investigation.The aim of the dissertation is to statistically and deeply analyzes the current situation of traditional dimension stones in typical cases,such as application,effects,methods,under the integrated objective of researching the application of traditional Hui-style dimension stones.Firstly,the current application of characteristics of traditional dimension stones would be analyzed and summarized from two angles,the types of dimension stones and extraction of factors in typical cases based on semantic ontology.Then quantitative analysis of effects about dimension stones could be available by scoring in questionnaires.Moreover,the current effects of traditional dimension stones in different districts in Huizhou would be detailed analyzed from pattern,material and color.Finally,according to the above research findings and case studies,extracting and purifying features of the traditional dimension stones,which are used in walls without windows,windows,entrance,floors and courtyard without paving,in Huizhou from five respects,morphology and types,pattern and significance,proportion and scale,color and constitution,construction methods.The dissertation has important theoretical consequences and great significance in application.Furthermore,it provides references to deal with these problems,such as,how to inherit and develop the traditional dimension stones in Huizhou,how to reveal the values of dimension stones to show our traditional culture.
