With the development of science and technology such as power electronics,computers and communications technology,the embedded systems have been widely used in an increasing number of application areas such as industrial control,transportation,communication network and military equIPment with the advantages of small volume,low-power consumption and high efficiency of operation.However,as customers have higher and higher persuit for system functions,the system developers should carry on the system maintenance and updates continually to improve system performance,enhance system practicality and market competitiveness based on customers,needs.Therefore,software upgrades of embedded systems is becoming a hot topic in the field of embedded applications.Based on the concept of Ethernet communication,a method of using the Ethernet control motor to operate and upgrade the dual-core DSP F28M36x program remotely are proposed.Compared with the traditional embedded control and upgrade methods,the efficiency of equIPment control and update is greatly improved by Ethernet communication?Meanwhile,the vertification of DSP F28M36x based on the Ethernet TCP/TP communication protocol is completed by the embedded development platform CCS6.0,and the GUI of motor control is written.Meantime,in order to upgrade and maintain the system timely,The upgrade system PC software,C28 core Bootloader and M3 core Bootloader are designed and developed.To meet the demand of upgrading both cores.In the upgrade system,the system anti-upgrade failure function and verification function have been joined in the two cores upgrades.The host computer software needed by system control and upgrade is completed in this paper,host computer control interface is designed by using the NI's Labview software development platform,and the Ethernet stable communication of host computer and DSP is realized.What's more,a complete upgrade protocol is designed in this paper,to ensure the stable and reliability of the upgrade system.Moreover,the analysis of user application Hex which using host computer is completed in this paper,and in corresponding address,the data programming is finished in Bootloader.At last the system upgrade is achieved.Finally,the experimental verification which designed embedded upgrade system is completed by upgrading the Frequency converter program.and the result shows that this upgrade system and control system have meet the requirement of motor's stable control,and the system is reliable.
