The ship power station paralleling and protection unit referred to as PPU(Paralleling and Protection Unit),it belongs to the ship power station automatic control technology.With more and more embedded technology applied in ships,the degree of ship power station automation controlling system has been greatly improved,it is bound to the local control to the development of centralized control.The ship power station is composed of diesel engine,generator and main switchboard.It provides electric energy for electric equipment on ships.In order to develop an advanced ship power station control system based on marine simulator,an ARM7TDMI-S-based on embedded marine simulator ship power station PPU controlling system is designed.The system is composed of diesel generator control box,PPU and Ethernet switch.It implements the ?C/OS-? operating system in the LPC2214,the practice shows that the system has a low cost,human-computer interaction is good;the alarm information and working status of power station on the marine simulator are intuitionistic and so on.The design uses Ethernet for data transmission,communication protocol using UDP,so that it not only meet the field data packet transmission mode,but also to meet the needs of upper monitoring data transmission speed,in view of the above two points,we choose W5100 and UPort,which integrates TCP/IP protocol stack,the communication speed can reach 100M.At the same time,in order to solve the problem of inaccurate and intuitionistic display of the parameters of diesel generator simulation control panel used in marine simulator,according to the YECS-1000 main generator control panel produced by HYUNDAI company of Korea was used as prototype to design a simulator for laboratory,It consists of a control box body and a control panel,the control panel is composed by power module,communication module and display module and so on.This panel is designed with many digital tubes to display information such as generator speed,temperature and pressure and so on.It has the advantages of real-time values displayed are accurate and easy controlling.The system has a small drum button,which is simple and beautiful,low cost and easy to control.In order to display system characteristics and key parameters more image and intuitive,aiming at the ship power station,two-dimensional simulation interface was designed by Visual C#programming language and Visual Studio.NET integrated development environment;using C#programming language in Unity3d to write scripts to achieve the virtual device action control,in 3D Max,3D model is made and optimized by material,map and baking.The 3D scene simulation of ship power station is realized,which has the advantages of realism and strong immersion.The IIC timing on the PCB(Printed Circuit Board)was tested using the probe method,and the simulator software was tested using a black and a white box test method.
