Study On Space Orgenization Of Land Port Joint Inspection Center Refering To Space Syntax

This paper studies the land port joint inspection center which is full of distinct characteristics of the times,plays a more and more significant critical role but has been rarely studied on the perspective of architectonics.Modern port,in fact,is a node of transportation system in the national and regional personnel mobilization as well as goods and supplies cross-currency transactions.Port on one hand well organizes personnel and supplies connection,on the other hand limits and controls the entry-exit traffic flow,safeguards people's security and national interests.Its core function is to carry on entry-exit customs inspection on personnel and supplies.Therefore,in the port control area,port joint inspection center which is exclusively for customs clearance,inspection and management is the core building unit of the port buildings with the customs office and port trade center as annexes.Land port joint inspection center is centered on the joint inspection building,accompanied with the surrounding squares,passenger and vehicle channels and goods inspection sites.Port joint inspection center as the core port building,is the hub of the national and regional personnel mobilization as well as goods and supplies cross-currency transactions.It has certain complexity and difficulties in spatial organization and design because of its multifarious functions,enormous staffs and complex operating line.However,owing to the building particularity of port joint inspection center,materials especially detailed drawings of the building are difficult to obtain.The practical research is subject to various restrictions.These all add difficulties for the design personnel in designing spatial organization of port inspection center buildings.This paper is centered on space research,combining the spatial organizationresearch on port joint inspection center with the space syntax theory which is useful at datamation analysis.This paper starts from the concept of port,clarifies the definition of land port joint inspection center based on the review of the development process of the port construction,brings in the space syntax theory,briefly introduces the research methods of the space syntax theory and makes sure research object,category and method.The second part of this paper is to present in detail the core concept as well as the research methods of space syntax theory and describe the space syntax theory's applicability and superiority in the study of spatial organization of land port joint inspection center.Through research on the spatial organization of land port joint inspection center,the third part is to obtain the primary logic and pattern design of it from the perspective of qualitative study.The fourth part is to conduct quantitative analysis of many real cases through the space syntax theory,demonstrate the advantages and disadvantages of the spatial organization design with data as well as test and verify the previous results.The relatively mature research results are put forward in the final part so as to provide help and reference for the spatial organization design of port joint inspection center in the future and provide precedent for the application of the space syntax theory in other types of construction.
