With the progress and development of the times,global energy use continues to increase.In the development of our country,building energy consumption accounts for about 30% of the total energy consumption.To slow down the energy consumption in our country is very urgent to be.Wuhan area belongs to the hot summer and cold winter region,for the office building,in order to guarantee the quality of the indoor thermal environment in summer,need long time to open air conditioning to reduce indoor temperature.Architectural window shading design is of a great significance for building energy efficiency,as a primary means to resist the summer solar radiation into indoor.Office buildings as functional attributes is uniform,personnel in the room long time,the energy consumption characteristics of it is obvious.Afterwards,research wuhan office building as the object,to research the area of office building outside the window sunshade shade and design principle.This paper analysis of shading examples at home and abroad,to study the current of shade of nowadays at home and abroad and the development situation.Second,analyses the features of the climate of Wuhan and the effect of solar radiation,to determine the sunshade design background in Wuhan area.On shade theory and office building energy consumption analysis of relevant research,discusses the basic principle of shading,forms and sun shading component of the material,size.Then to Wuhan office building shading condition of field investigation,with the method of data statistics and take pictures,analysis of the office building shading current situation and the existing problems in Wuhan.Introducing Ecotect analysis to study a single room for sunshade,analysis the toward the most appropriate form of shade and sun component size.Finally combine with the influence things,conclusion the strategies of wuhan office building examplesunshade optimization design.According to the research strategies of wuhan office building example sunshade optimization design,the quantity of building energy consumption before and after contrast sunshade design,determine the outside of the window sunshade design strategy research results of practical feasibility.The research on the optimal design of the sun shading outside the office building is of great significance to the energy saving of the office buildings in Wuhan.
