The Research And Practice Of The Planning And Design Of The Hanshan Botanic Garden

With the development of the times,botanic garden is not only a place for displaying plants and performing scientific research,but also the important part of urban green space system,even urban tourism chain.Hanshan Botanic Garden is an important project of the Master Plan of Hanshan Tourism’s Comprehensive Development and Hanshan Leisure Agriculture Project,Hanshan Botanic Garden will be of great significance to the development of Nanzheng and Hanzhong’s tourism and green space.Hanshan Botanic Garden can protect rare plants and ecological environment,and then,taking advantage of Hanshan’s rich plant resources to carry out activities about horticulture,which turn resource advantage into industry advantage and promote local economic development.What’s more,Hanshan Botanic Garden laid emphasis on creating rich landscape,aiming to building a subtropical botanical garden with Hanzhong characteristics,and Hanshan Botanic Garden will be a highlights of Nanzheng’s Comprehensive Tourism Development Project and a new scenic spot of Nanzheng,which can attract more tourists and promote the development of Nanzheng and Hanzhong’s tourism.This paper based on the type,function,and other related theories of botanical gardens,analyzed a series of factors affecting the planning and design of botanical garden,such as project background、superordinate planning、natural environment、site status,discussed the guiding ideology、design concept、design principle and other related theories of Hanshan Botanic Garden planning and design,and discussed practice methods of the construction of specified plant gardens、the shaping of botanical garden regional features and ecological construction.All of the above provided theoretical basis and practice methods for Hanshan Botanic Garden planning and design,and summarized the following conclusions:1、Investigation and analysis show that Hanshan’s natural conditions are exceptional,the project area has rich plant resources,natural environment and rich cultural background,and this botanic garden has a proper distance from city,transportation is convenient,which is conforming to the principles of botanical garden site selection.Hanshan is a perfect place in Nanzheng for building a botanic garden.The Master Plan of Hanshan Tourism’s Comprehensive Development is advancing step by step.The surrounding of project has complete municipal and traffic facilities,which can meet the requirements of building a botanic garden.2、On the theoretical level,this paper analyzed a series of factors affecting the planning and design of botanical garden and combined the theory of botanical garden planning and design,proposed the guiding ideology of “park’s appearance、science connotation and Characteristic culture” and the planning concept of “Full respect for site status 、Strengthen plant characteristics、Create varied beautiful landscape and Outstanding poetry and humanistic feelings”.The project is designated as a north subtropical botanical garden,and then promote the principle of putting function as priority,creating rich landscape,suiting garden’s measures to local conditions,promoting humanization of environment and sustainable utilization.In terms of technology,put forward a series of practice methods: making full use of the existing topography and geomorphology,displaying plants in the form of specified plant garden,creating the regional features of botanical gardens,combining botanical garden planning with industrial development and maintaining the ecology of botanical gardens.3、In concrete practice,Hanshan Botanic Garden planning and design followed the above design concepts and principles,put the Han culture 、flower culture、landscape culture into Hanshan botanic garden in the form of architecture、sculpture and plants,and 42 families,110 genera and 3904、 species of plants are introduced in this botanic garden.Finally the botanic garden formed the planning layout of “ one ring、one core、two strips、fifteen partitions、nine nodes”,and confirmed Hanshan Botanic Garden’s functional zones:the main part is 13 specified plant gardens--the peach garden、the rose garden、the bamboo garden、the azalea garden and so on,the rest part is animal viewing area、children’s park 、protective forest belt and slope landscape zone.Hanshan Botanic Garden’s planning pattern is using “one ring” to connect 15 main scenic spots with “nine nodes” evenly distributed in this garden,and implementing plants planning 、traffic planning 、 architectural planning 、 environmental protection planning 、infrastructure planning、guarantee system construction and so on a series of special planning.All of the above practices created a modern botanical garden with the function of plants protection、ecological protection、science education、leisure and recreation.
