Smart grid as an inevitable trend for the future development of power grid,has reached a consensus worldwide.Different countries according to their own conditions and needs,develop their own smart grid roadmap,or start the corresponding research and power grid renovation project.With the rapid development of smart grid,the evaluation of smart grid has become not only a necessary work,but also the basis of decisions related to the power industry.Comprehensive evaluation index system for smart grid already has had a lot research results,including the development of smart grid evaluation system proposed by the United States Energy Homes,smart grid cost/benefit evaluation system projects proposed by EPRI,the smart grid benefits evaluation system which is issued by EU,IBM company's smart grid maturity evaluation system and the pilot project evaluation index system released by State Grid company However,various methods has their own shortcomings,such as evaluation methods are similar,evaluation object is simple,without assessment of the final results.This paper proposes a comprehensive evaluation index system,including the regional intelligence level of grid and the maturity of the smart grid technology.Uncertainty analysis and extrapolation method are also presented for the the assessment of results.It is possible for the next step of building a strong and smart grid provide a strong reference.These provide an important reference for the next strong smart grid construction.
