Because of its strong dominance,"visual sense" has a certain degree of ruling power in culture, philosophy and even architecture. In this context, the integrity of people's perceptual system is broken: Visual sense is emphasized, while other perceptions are ignored and rejected. People tend to project the whole perceptive world and architecture onto the 2-dimentional renderings and drawings for visual experience, which may possibly cause consequences of suppressing the whole perceptual experience, separating the interaction between architecture and human, and undervaluing the whole quality of architecture. In fact, it tends to make a partial impression if you think architecture in a two -dimensional visual way by design drawings and pictures. The light and shadow changes over time inside and outside building, the sound from people's talking and moving, the comprehensive smell of the building, and the rich tactile sense from different textures……You can't truly understand architecture and urban unless you visit the site in person, bring your senses and feelings into experiencing. In this article,on the basis of the theory of phenomenology of perception, I take the perception and experience of architecture as the core theme and attempt to discuss the feasibility of perception and experience in terms of phenomenology of perception during architectural design from the aspects of architectural perception (chapter 4.1), the body in the architecture (chapter 4.2), architectural experience (chapter 4.3), including visual sense (chapter 4.4.1), auditory sense (chapter 4.4.2), tactile sense (chapter 4.4.3), smell sense and taste sense (chapter 4.4.4), and memory and self-questioning(chapter 4.5, 4.6), in expectation of resisting the current situation that the buildings are lack of initiative and perception, the interaction with the body and the mind of human beings, and intention, during the 'vision rules' age.
