Research On Conceptual Scheme Of Protection And Development Of Ancient City Gate Site In Ningbo

China has a long history of ancient civilization,it's very important and urgent for china to strengthen the protection of urban historical and cultural heritage.In this situation,we need to take more effective protection measures to repair the material and cultural heritage and its external environment,so that we can have a harmonious coexistence of the city heritage,people's living environment,and economic development.Ningbo is one of China's historical and cultural cities,the ancient city's wall was built during the Tang and Song dynasties,then they are demolished in the Republic of China,after that the ground has no traces of the city walls.How to preserve the city walls of cultural memory,highlight its historical and cultural characteristics become a problem we need to think and solve.This paper first studies the literature and practice of the protection of the ruined city walls at home and abroad,makes a preliminary theoretical research on the historical and cultural contents of Ningbo city wall and ancient city gate.And then analyze the actual situation of the ancient city gate site of Ningbo to determine the overall design of the project design and design direction,At last,this paper make a further program design and site protection development for Dongdu door and Wangjing door.The protection and utilization of the ancient city gate in Ningbo has great significance to enhance the cultural quality of the city and to show the style of the historical and cultural city.
