The energy situation is very serious in our country,and the building energy consumption is very huge.Office building energy consumption accounts for a large share of the total building energy consumption.Making full use of natural lighting to reduce building energy consumption is the current urgent task.Compared with artificial light,natural light is more advantageous to the staff's physical and mental health and provide a comfortable working environment to improve the working efficiency of the staff.We need to consider using natural lighting in construction design stage.Meet the demand of the daylighting of the people through the reasonable space design to make more natural light come into the building.Reduce the opening time of the lighting equipment,so as to reduce energy consumption of lighting.Due to its special climate conditions,office building energy consumption in cold region characteristics is different from other climate zone.We should analysis the main factors influencing the energy consumption,according to its actual energy consumption characteristics.Then make research on the rules of the impact of these factors on energy consumption.Select a certain office building with atrium of Harbin as the research object and the lighting energy consumption for the whole year of 2014 and the total energy consumption were analyzed,and found that lighting energy consumption is realated to seasonal differences.Lighting energy consumption accounts for a higher percentage of the total energy consumption and there is great potential for energy saving.Using DesignBuilder simulation software,analyze the effect rule of window to wall ratio,different skylights area,outer wall heat transfer coefficient,light transmittance and near infrared transmittance to lighting energy consumption,air conditioning energy consumption,heating energy consumption and total energy consumption.For office buildings with the single gallery atrium in cold region,when skylight area is certain,total building energy consumption achieve the minimum with window to wall ratio of 0.4 ~ 0.45.When window to wall ratio is certain,total building energy consumption achieve the minimum with the skylight area ratio of 40%.In the construction design phase,we can increase the size of the window wall area ratio by changing the skylight area and get more natural lighting with the same building energy consumption.Reducing the outer wall heat transfer coefficient can not change the best window to wall ratio.Reasonable range of visible light transmittance is 0.6 ~ 0.8 and the reasonable range of the near infrared transmittance is 0.3 ~ 0.5.
