With development of transmission mechanism,the high performance transmission mechanism is coming into notice.External generating-wave movable teeth drive is a kind of high performance transmission mechanism not only has the advantages of traditional drive movable teeth,such as strong bearing,high transmission efficiency,compact structure and wide range of transmission ratio,but also the contact strength in meshing pair is small,and the pressure angle between wave generator and movable teeth is small which is better for power transmission.This paper make a comparative study on the tooth profile design,tooth profile characteristic analysis,contact analysis of meshing pair and kinematics analysis of external generating-wave movable teeth drive.In this paper,the structure of external generating-wave movable teeth drive was analyzed.The tooth profile equation of the center gear was deduced based on coordinate transformation and envelope principle.The transmission scheme was studied.The continuous transmission and non-interference condition was researched based on the drive demand.On the basis of tooth design,the effect of design parameters on central gear profile was studied,and the change rule was given.The change rule of curvature of central gear was studied,and the effect of design parameters on curvature was studied.The effects of design parameters on the pressure angle of the two driving forms are analyzed,and the effect of design parameters on extreme pressure angle was researched.Based on the theory of small elastic deformation,elastic deformation coordination assumption and Hertz contact theory,the meshing force is discussed and analyzed.The maximal contact stress on the contact surface is obtained.The change rule of the contact stress affected by design parameters is analyzed.The meshing pair model was established by SolidWorks,the contact analysis of meshing pair model was analyzed by ANSYS,the change rule of equivalent stress was obtained.The virtual prototype of external generating-wave movable teeth reducer was established by SolidWorks.Kinematics simulation is carried out by ADAMS.The transmission ratio is verified by simulation.Precision grade and tolerance are selected to draw parts drawing and assembly drawing.Through the research above,the high performance external generating-wave movable teeth reducer was processed,and lay foundation for the design of external generating-wave movable teeth drive.
