In recent years,the process of urbanization accelerated,urban development with each passing day,the corresponding contradictions have become increasingly prominent.Urban traffic congestion,exhaust emissions,traffic accidents,noise pollution and other issues become more serious.This phenomenon with the economic and social development,and gradually from the first-line,second-tier cities to third and fourth-tier cities extension,in many county towns,road congestion is also significantly increased.The traffic demands of small and medium-sized city vehicles are still in control,the road resources can support the normal traffic order,but the organization planning,management,signal control,illegal and other reasons,Increased traffic delays significantly increased,the performance of the transportation system has not been well developed.Based on this,this paper focuses on the coordinated control technology of urban trunk arterial traffic,and studies the control parameters such as signal period,phase difference and green letter ratio at the intersection of urban and main road,hoping to alleviate the congestion problem in engineering practice.This paper first describes the principle of coordinated control of traffic trunk signals,and studies the common cycle time,green letter ratio and phase difference of the three main timing parameters of coordinated control of traffic trunk,and puts forward the optimization method of trunk coordinated control based on genetic algorithm,The algorithm of the initial group,the fitness function,the coding scheme,the genetic selection,the cross operation and the variation are designed,and the algorithm flow is explained.The optimization phase difference and the three parameters of the intersections are given,Green signal ratio and phase difference)two optimization methods.Secondly,according to the actual situation of the trunk traffic in Guangrao County,the engineering measures of the coordinated control of the main line are carried out from the secondary intersection,the left turn lane,the public transportation and the slow traffic.The secondary intersection has given the first and so on,and the priority is given to the expansion of the cycle,and the tuning is the main principle.The left turning lane has proposed the project from the coordination direction and the non-coordination direction.Measures;public transport from the initiative bus priority measures and passive bus priority measures in two aspects of the study;slow traffic mainly to optimize the design of transport facilities and facilities to support the two engineering measures.And traffic engineering design was carried out at the relevant intersections of Le'an Avenue,Guangrao County.Finally,based on the case of Le'an Avenue in Guangrao County,Shandong Province,the genetic algorithm is used to optimize the design of trunk coordinated control.Through the calculation of signal sequence,signal control period and phase difference,the scheme of trunk coordinated control is determined and analyzed by Vissim software The simulation and verification of the control optimization scheme are carried out to illustrate the effectiveness and practicability of the control optimization scheme.This paper focus on the coordination control of the main road signal,and the design of related traffic engineering.It provides a useful and necessary method to alleviate the traffic congestion in medium-small cities.The scheme designed in this paper can provide reference for the coordination of traffic trunk in m edium and small cities in China.
