Research And Evaluation On The Reconstruction And Extension Project Of Zhumadian-Xinyang Section Of Beijing-Hong Kong-Macau Expressway

Zhumadian-Xinyang section of Beijing-Hong Kong-Macau Expressway(G4)is located in the south of Henan Province.It is an important part of the national expressway network planning and the main skeleton of the highway network in Henan Province.It is a reconstruction and extension project of Zhumadian-Xinyang section of Beijing-Hong Kong-Macau Expressway in Henan Province.In this dissertation,some policies are studies in detail such as “Highway Construction Planning in Henan Province” and “Henan Province Trunk Highway Network Planning in Henan Province”.The necessity of reconstruction and extension project is analyzed and demonstrated through the investigation of technical status and adaptability of several expressways and national highway and the research the current situation and development prospect of the project area.Through the analysis of national expressway network and Henan highway network planning,the position and role of the project is revealed clear the project in the road network.Based on the overall study of possible various programs in the project,the two reconstruction and extension programs are proposed of new double line and widening implementation in the existing Highway.In this dissertation,through the combination with the existing Zhumadian-Xinyang expressway design and construction plans,a series of problems which might appear in the reconstruction and extension project are analyzed and the possibility is studied of the implementation of reconstruction and extension project.According to the current situation of Zhumadian-Xinyang expressway,the issues which should be solved are analyzed in the project.In light of the research of the economy and transport structure characteristics of the area in the project,the future traffic volume of the proposed project is forecast.Combined with the position and function of the project channel in the integrated transportation network,the reasonable reconstruction and extension standard is chosen.After the deep study of the possibility and technical feasibility of widening of the old road and the positive and negative effects on the overall channel of new built double lines,through the analysis and comparison of the two programs,the widening program of old road is confirmed to be the final program,and the economic evaluation and the analysis of saving energy are done to the final program.
