With the rapid development of trade globalization and regional economic integration,china's container throughput grow significantly,which put forward higher requirements on the handing efficiency and transportation efficiency in container port.With the advantages of large capacity,low transportation cost,low carbon and environmental protection,railway container transportation is becoming increasingly important.China has introduced a number of policies to promote the development of railway,which has created advantageous conditions for the development of intermodal transportation.Therefore,how to reduce the cost of container logistics and enhance the competitiveness through improving the efficiency of intermodal transportation has become the main direction in port area,and it also conform to the development trend of green and low carbon.The railway area of container port is an important operation area that has a great influence on efficiency in the process of railway-water intermodal transportation.We chose the railway line/yard as the research object,analyzing the influence of layout and number of handling equipment on efficiency based on the railway-water intermodal transportation.Based on the analysis of the relevant literature and theory,we analyze the influence of layout on railway-water intermodal transportation operation model,which is the basis of construction of evaluation model to reflect the efficiency.Based on the analysis of the process and characteristics of railway-water intermodal transportation,we use multi-agent technology to establish the railway-water intermodal transportation simulation model and verify the validity of model.The simulation model is the platform to obtain the evaluation value of each scheme,and we obtain the optimal scheme through the evaluation model.Taking a container port as an example,we obtain the output results of each scheme and the optimal scheme,and we quantitatively analyze the results of each scheme.The simulation model of railway-water intermodal transportation in this paper can provide a theoretical reference for the related project planning and construction.
